2nd Challenge Grant Received By Cloverdale Community Dollars for Scholars

The Putnam County Community Foundation awarded Cloverdale Community Dollars for Scholars with a $10,000 matching grant to build its endowment by $30,000.  In addition to the matching grant from the Community Foundation, a group of anonymous local donors will also match contributions, meaning that between November 1, 2012 and December 31, 2013, every dollar donated will be matched dollar for dollar up to a cumulative dollar amount of $30,000.

Our 2nd Annual Phone-A-Thon is being planned to raise the public portion of this grant.  Students from Cloverdale High School, under the supervision of Dollars for Scholars board members and the school administration, will be calling parents of both current students and graduates as well as local residents.  The Phone-A-Thon will take place on Saturday, February 9th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and on Sunday, February 10th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  If you wish to receive a call or make a donation, please send an e-mail to CloverdaleDollarsforScholars@gmail.com with your name and phone number, or call (765) 795-5711 ext 1151 and leave a message with your name and phone number.
